Dr. Naomi Cramer Overton

Founder and CEO | We Are Becoming

Mainstage | Thursday | A.M. General Session

By God’s guidance and collaboration with others, Naomi helps organizations and people dream, innovate, and grow. As a three-time CEO of The MomCo by MOPS, Stonecroft Ministries, and now We Are Becoming, she’s seen that passion bear fruit in program impact, revenue growth, and—dearest to her heart—strong friendships, an enduring global mentoring group, and Best Christian Workplace awards.

Naomi has also lifted the dreams of World Vision’s most generous community of philanthropists (the National Leadership Council) as a National Director. As director of Compassion International’s product strategy and child advocacy, she has championed the dreams of children and families in plenty and poverty. As General Editor of Tyndale’s Every Woman’s Bible, she’s gathered over 100 women worldwide to use their voices to invite everyone to discover God’s story and their own. In executive recruiting with Mission: Leadership, she walks alongside great organizations, helping them find their next great leaders.

Beyond her work with nonprofits, Naomi has created innovation, improvement, and marketing strategies for Fortune 50 companies such as Apple and HP across various industries. These include consumer tech, media, and publishing (the Los Angeles Times, NBC Network, local ABC and CBS affiliate stations, and Tyndale Publishing), government (Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power), biotechnology, and leadership (the Ken Blanchard Company).

Naomi’s fascination with how people become “multipliers” drove her doctoral study, which won the Fuller Theological Seminary School of Intercultural Studies’ Leadership Award. She focused her UCLA MBA on Intrapreneurship and her Stanford University bachelors on how leaders and causes advance through media.

Naomi and her college sweetheart Frank have four young adult “kids” and one 4-pound dog—Chief Lap Warmer, Osito. They have climbed nearly 30 peaks over 13,000 feet and cheer each other on to do what is undreamable without God.
